We Offer complete service on all Regular 8 and Super 8 cameras as well as most models of 16mm equipment. REMEMBER: most of the Super 8 cameras are either approaching 40 years old or have gone well past it. All of the Regular 8 units are considerably older than that. The good ones can easily give that kind of service and remain reliable if you have them cleaned and lubricated properly. That is where we come in. We provide preventative maintenance for those tired shafts and bushings. Buying them off the net is alright if you care for them properly BEFORE using them to capture your important images.
Tired of buying those little light meter batteries? They are expensive and they run down exactly when you need 'em.
Willard Engineering has developed a micro miniature, digitally controlled, meter supply that runs off of the cameras main drive motor batteries. All cameras that require either one or two batteries in the meter can use one of these supplies. Click on the picture.
The meter voltage remains within 100th of a volt even when the main batteries will not run the drive motor. Fits all makes and models that use separate meter batteries and is only 40 bucks when we are performing a routine clean and lube. Never have a dead meter again
The biggest problem used camera buyers face when buying off the web, is that they sometimes end up with junk. With battery driven movie cameras generally the problem is corrosion due to batteries having not been removed before the camera was stored. Believe it or not, there are some models that corrosion destroys completely. Look on the Canon page for photo proof.
When purchasing a camera (they are all used), arrange to have it sent to us for evaluation. We will inspect it and contact you within 24 hours of arrival with a condition report. You can then decide to keep it or send it back based on an expert opinion of it's condition. This service is only $40.00 and if you decide it is worth keeping, we will apply the $40.00 to any repairs done in the next 3 months.
In the coming weeks this section will be expanded to include a used camera buying guide including closeup photos of some of the problems and pitfalls of various models. If you are contemplating purchasing a certain make and model that is not listed, please send a message to us on the contact page. We can tell you what experience has taught us over the years on that model. It could save you from making a mistake or it could help you pick up a gem.

There are times when a projector is called for. Most of them are belt driven and do not work because the rubber belts have deteriorated. Let us clean and lubricate and install new belts to bring it back to life. We also have many projection lamps that are hard to find.
